Ok, I've read and read, started to make my own skins, etc...  Now I have an idiot question.

  • I am making my skins using HTML.

Question: How do I style the TOKENs?  Do they inherit their style from the table cell they are in?  Do I need to set the CSS class in the XML file?  Just having a hard time styling my TOKENs.

Thanks,

Vollerworld

This might be an idiot reply, since I'm not sure, but I think you can style the tokens by finding the corresponding .ascx files so if you want to change the [SEARCH] token for instance, you can do that in the SearchInput.ascx file found in root/admin/search

On the default CSS file, It hink its the "NormalTextBox" class, I could be wrong.

Open the skin.css file to edit it, not sure what you are using for coding, but you can open the skin.css file in Notepad or Wordpad or any text editor.  All the styles are commented with explanations about what gets formatted and how.  The skin.css file is what contains the css instructions that format the tokens as well as the rest of the website.

Hope that helps,

Rick

The easiest way it to include the tokens in a div with a class and reference it that way.
For some tokens you can also set the CSSclass in the XML.
