I've found that certain admin pages break a fixed width skin if you have it fixed to 800px or less in width.  For example, on the Admin -> Event Viewer page, the table of events logged is nearly 1024px wide.  How do most designers get around that issue?  Do you design the admin pages to be "stretchable" or what do you do to solve that problem?  I was trying to design my own skin and in testing it, found that the fixed width format doesn't stay so "fixed" on certain default pages in DotNetNuke, the pages format actually becomes more broken than fixed.  Other tables like the "file manager" table and the "manage user profile" also break fixed width formats.  What do the experts do about that problem?  Can it be fixed with css or do you have to go in and edit the underlying code that is using tables that are too big for a fixed width format?

Thanks,

Rick

The fixed hardcoded widths of some admin controls is a problem we all have to deal with.

I mostly make the admin skin wider then the default skin to solve this problem
