I am using the standard [LOGO] skin tag in my skin. When I set the site logo under site settings the image shows up where I placed the [LOGO] in the skin. Everything works as expected. However....

Is there a way to show a different logo on each page rager than one for all pages on the site?

thanks.

I believe there is a module out (for money) that allows you to do that.  Default DNN, I don't think so. You will need to get something someone else wrote, or write/modify the core yourself.

No need to modify the core for that! But you need to write several skin files, one for each logo you want to use. Hard-code the logo into those files and remove the [LOGO] token (or <dnn:LOGO> if you're doing it in the ascx files). Then just select the appropriate skin for each page.

Might be a bit cumbersome if you've got hundreds of pages.

An alternative: Why not put a LogoPane into the skin in the location where you want the logos (make sure it's runat="server") and place a media module there, and put the logo into that media module. That way you can easily change the logo on every single page.

This is why I troll all of the DNN forums. :)  This is huge, thanks; I didn't know you could do that and will have to play around with thisa bit...would be nice to have the standard logo, then some variants with a different icon germane to each genre of content I am displaying on the page. :)
