Hello everybody!

I have to build a new website based on DNN for a small company right now, but i have never used DNN before. I just got appointed and now have to suffer...

My problem is the following:
I gotta have a certain menu structure that is Root horizontal on top and the instance after root sidemap-like in a vertical sidemenu. If you click a link that has child tabs they should be expanded like in a treeview menu but the rest of the menu needs to be still visible. I am not allowed to use any javascript based menu because my boss hates it.
I tried DNNMENU, Solpartmenu and Inventua Sidemenu, but i cant make them show the menu the way i need it.
Should be something like this:

link1 | link2 | link3

Link1-1
Link1-2
   Link1-2-1
   Link1-2-2
Link1-3

I already dug through the documentation but i find it really hart to find the snippets of information i need.

Could someone please help me out?

you need to use two menus, limited to different levels (horizontal menu: 1st only, other 2nd and above). I haven't tried this with DNN default menu, maybe you need to use another one like HouseMenu from www.houseofnuke.com.

Ok, i figured it out:

I used the Inventua Topmenu and the Inventua Sidemenu. Then I set the Topmenu Level as Rootonly and the Sidemenu Level as "-5".

Worked.
