There is an attribute of the DNNMenu called CSSBreak, which I believe was in the SolPartMenu. Is this the space between the horizontal and/or vertical menu items?

If not, what exactly is it used for? the official documentation says "Menu Break CSS class".

Thank you!

I've been digging into the properties of the DNNMenu as much as possible. In the official documentation, "dotnetnuke navigation controls", on page 16, there is a listing of CSS properties. Most of these are checked off as being implemented by the DNNMenu, but there are four which are not:

  • CSSContainerRoot
  • CSSBreak
  • CSSIndicateChildSub
  • CSSIndicateChildRoot

Is this a mistake in the documentation or are they really not implemented? If you go to the Nav.ascx file in visual web developer and look at the class it inherits from and go to it in the object browswer, you'll see the base class, NavObjectBase, implements all 23 of them including the four listed above. Was this a mistake or is the documentation wrong?

Thanks guys!

I think you are confusing the skin object (Nav) with the underlying navigation provider (DNNMenuNavigationProvider, DNNTreeNavigationProvider, etc.).  The place you need to look is the navigation provider.

This question has probably been asked before, but I'll ask again since I haven't found an answer.  Where can I find sample source code for using DNNMenu, I am having a hard time getting it to work as I would like.  I understand there's a WebControls 2.0 site that demonstrates the capabilities of the new DNNMenu (http://webcontrols.dotnetnuke.com/DNNMenu.aspx), but it would be great if I could look at the code for it.  The only sample code I've seen is Michael's code, but it's insufficient in that it doesn't address my needs.  He also says there's *extensive documentation* but all I've seen is a few posts and some technical documentation that exists in webcontrols.dotnetnuke.com.  Interestingly, I had to kludge an URL to obtain the documentation because the URL was broken.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
