i am using default dnn blue skin and i need to change the font colors of seach, login and so on.. the default color of these test is blue. i tried to chnage in the relavent part of the css file but nothing seem to be happening. any help is greatly appriciated.

be sure you alter the colors for style.a instead of style

Here are the related styles you need to change the color:

.SkinObject {color:#003366;font-family:Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica;font-size:8.5pt;font-weight:bold;text-decoration:none;}
a.SkinObject:link {color:#003366;text-decoration:none;}
a.SkinObject:visited {color:#003366;text-decoration:none;}
a.SkinObject:hover {color:#003366;text-decoration:none;}
a.SkinObject:active {color:#003366;text-decoration:none;}

a:link {color:#003366;text-decoration:none;}
a:visited {color:#003366;text-decoration:none;}
a:hover {color:#FF0000;text-decoration:underline;}
a:active {color:#003366;text-decoration:none;}

These came from the default styles of DNN-Blue skin. Just change the color in the skin.css file to whatever you like.
