I'm using the standard nav menu that came with my skin (no special module or content for it).  In my module directly below the navigation, I have a Flash movie.  When users go to the drop down navigation menu, the submenus appear behind the flash movie, so you can't view or use the navigation properly.

I don't know if this has something to do with the z-index or what.  It seems like it should be fairly easy to tell the Flash movie to go backwards, or the nav menu to come forwards.  Please see my developing page here and you can see what I mean:

Thanks!

Hmmm...  Have you already fixed this?  I used WinXP SP 2 with IE 7, and the menus appeared over the flash animation.

Oh, yes--I see what you mean. Apparently it works fine in IE7, but not Firefox.  I didn't realize that at first.  so it is just a firefox issue.

You need to add a parameter to the flash display code to set your WMode to transparent. That will bring the menu out in front of the flash.

If the flash file is part of your skin, amend the skin. If it's being played through the DNN Media module, switch to a different player like Inventua's flash player. If it's displayed through the DNN Text/HTML module, then amend the display settings in the code there.
