I'm using the DNN-Gray skin.  I went into the portals/_dfault/skinsDNN-Gray/skin.css file and changed the .lefpane width to 225px but the pane width will not change when displaying my website.  Am I missing something?

Please don't edit the default skins directly, but use a copy of the skin. The default skins could be overwritten if you upgrade DNN, where you would loose all your changes.

If the content of the center contenpane is too wide the leftpane will shrink.

Did you try on a page with no content? Are you using the fixed with or the 100% skin?

I'm using the 100% skin. Left pane is set for 225, center 100%, right pane 175

the 100% for the contentpane is not correct (I know it's in the default skin, you didn't change it)

I think if you remove the 100% it should be better...

If not, please post a link so I can have a look at it.

The problem is if you remove the 100% from the contentpane, it doesn't display the page correctly.  The contentpane should be 100% but thr leftpane should not go below 225px but it does.
