i have jQuery registered in the head of my skin.  the problem is, my 3rd party module also uses jQuery. -- and if you include multiple instances of jQuery on a page you will have issues.

it would be nice if instances, portals, modules, skins, containers all registered their support files to the same object and the core would  handle duplications at request time.

i saw this (Allow for Javascript and Silverlight files to be included in skin packages) was an enhancement to 4.8.1 but what does it really mean?  does this resolve my above problem?

No, the enhancement only allows javascript files inside a skinpackage, without having to allow JS files for general upload in the host settings.
