i have dnn0408 web.

from this website some external web i am calling.

when i logout from dnn.i dont want to manipulate any of the buttons from external web.

what vb coding i want to write in button click.

i have dnnwebsite dnn0408.

in this web i created one link module.

when i click this link in a new  window my other web will come based on this dnn username.

so now dnn0408 and external web is working in two windows.

when i logout from dnn0408 web i want to close this external web also how??

well yu cant use the link module you have to use javascript to open it in order to make sure that the windows are linked

javascript to open your window

var newwindnn = open("new.aspx", ...);

javascript that you have to trigger when you close dnn site

newwindnn.close();

 

for the best window close event handling you have to google however because that was tricky in the past. I dont know ow it is now

can u give  me the full line of coding.i want coming window have no scroll bar,menubar,at the same time some value also i want to pass.

i created my own link module.in that module button click my coding is as foolows.

Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(Me.GetType(), "popup", "window.open(webname?username=" & user4mapping & "','','scrollbars=no,menubar=no,height=650,width=screen.width,resizable=no,toolbar=no,location=no,status=no')", True)

 

at the same time can u tell me

newwindnn.close();

where i want to write this code.
