if your completely new to DNN, and really want to dive deep into DNN skinning then I really suggest you consider getting a subscription at www.dnncreative.com

The tuturials are great from start to finish, the author does an awesome job with dealing with DNN "challenges" / details you need to know to really excel.

The other tuturials on DNN he has are also well worth going through, I have took core modules which I thought were pretty much junk and turned them into big successes.

If you don't want to spend any money then read the skinning documentation, and post here. Everyone is very friendly but we do ask you read the documentation first just cause it will greatly help you understand terminolgogies we use.
