Hi,

I have created a custom skin fo my client. The skin is approved but the problem is with the menu area.

The skin design is such that the menu area is of fixed width and at the most 5 menu items can be fitted in it. Now if you have seperators as vertical lines then the menu area and the other skin layout go hand in hand but if you insert the menu items without the seperators then it does not go well with the theme of the skin.

My problem is, when I showed the prototype to the client (was craeted using Photoshop), it had the seperators in the menu area and the skin was APPROVed with seperators in between (It was designed by a designer and not me, I am a developer), and when I actually tried to program it (using SOLPART menu) I am not able to insert the vertical bars in between menu items which will be getting added dynamically. If you donot have to put the vertical lines in between, then the job is normal.

Can I do something like this?

Please help, else I the Skin will be rejected and all my efforts will be in...

Thanks

Girish

Seems like you simply need to specify a separator in your skin (see the skinning document for more details).  Depending on the complexity of your separator you may also need to specify a rootmenuitemlefthtml/rootmenuitemrighthtml as was needed to give the tab effect.
