Sorry I guess I'm unclear about the question. Are you trying to override a specific CSS selector in the default.css file?

hi,

I have written a CSS class for anger text (vertical menu structure) in Module.CSS. when i click the  anger text i have to   change the color of clicked one.

But its not applying color to the anger text. instead of that ,its applying the default.css.when i command the CSS  classes in  Default.CSS(ie)

(A:link,A:active,A:visited,A.hover) its working with classes written in module .css. how to  override without commanding this classes in Default.CSS.

Portal.css overrides (skinname).css, which overrides default.css, which in turn overrides module.css

Don't change anything in module.css or default.css. Instead, transfer everything you want to change into your portal.css and make changes there. You could transfer the styles into skinnae.css if they were specifically for the skin, not just for the portal.
