To remove the horizontal scroll bar from the DNN5 Beta 6 Skin just open the skin.css file located in the minimal extropy folder of your website and change the css propoerties for div.SearchContainer to:

div.SearchContainer{position:absolute; margin-left: -238px; white-space: nowrap}

*Notice the only change I made to the skin was adding margin-left: -238px;

Anthony,

I appreciate your enthusiam for the cambrian beta release, but it's exactly that  - a beta. There is no guarantee of an upgrade path from that version or of the final release version working the same. Strictly speaking its a review copy so we can get feedback and I don't really think it's approriate to plug content for a version thats not on general release. I understand that we have not explicitly requested that you do not do this, but in the interests of avoiding having lots of people asing for unreleased betas or actually using one as though it was a production release, could you hold off from any more cambrian related releases until it's on general release.

Thanks,

Cathal

I understand that you don't want everybody asking about the beta releases here. If you want to suggest somewhere else that is an appropriate place for feedback on the new DNN5 Betas then please reply.

Thanks for the note.

there is a forum called "subscribers - general discussion" for this purpose. If you got the beta through another way (i.e. you're a marketplace seller), please log any issue at the public issue logged at support.dotnetnuke.com

I agreed with Cathal. All issues should be reported to gemini with descriptive explanations with or without proposed resolutions to avoid people raising concerns on a WIP product.
