Problem is that there is no query string built between the search input page and the 'Search Result' page. What could be happening? I have even replaced the search box with a default DNN box and also tried re-index the site but no difference. If I manually append a query string with search term to the Search Result page then searches work.

Please help. This has been a nightmare to make this skin work and now this.

Not that I know of! There is a Google tracking Module on every page and then some pages have the CataLOOK E-commerce Modules. What kind of Modules would catch the events?

Some more info: I just used Service Capture to see if data is being posted as the Search button is pressed and it does in the SouthEastFireRescue.com site--but the Search Result page shows up twice in SCapture for SEFR site as opposed to dev2.alphaobjects.com. This means there is no 'event' blocking but perhaps some kind of URL redirect problem? I also note that the home page for dev2.. is formatted differently in the url:

http://dev2.alphaobjects.com/Home/tabid/638/Default.aspx

but for SEFR it is :

http://www.southeastfirerescue.com/Home/tabid/183/List/0/Default.aspx

Note the 'List' in the URL path. What is this?!
