I have an entire site in DNN. The door page is currently in a skin called 'noskin' and it has only one content pane unstyled.

I have added a text/html box for the content pane and trying to insert my html content inside the pane.  When I tried to place my css inside it, it automatically got deleted by the program so its not being styled by anything. I have uploaded my images in the file manager and placed them in a folder called DOOR. I updated my css links to correlate with the folders location. I uploaded my css to the root folder and to the door folder. I tried assigning the css page using the FCKeditor under custom css file and locating the style sheet and hit apply etc. and its still not displaying.

Am I missing a step somewhere? How do I get my html to find my css and make it work? How to I get my images to display?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you should add your CSS to the skins CSS files, not in FCK editor

Actually there was a way. I found out that if you place your html and css in the rich text editor box it will automatically delete your css because of it behaving like xml. If you use a basic text box you can add everything and it will display correctly with the css. I ended up in the end not doing it this way but good for someone who is not familiar with skinning. It displayed correctly across all browsers.
