I'm developing a skin with a centered SOLPARTMENU border across the top.  I've got it working just fine by adding a "text-align:center" css to my skin file for all td tags.  However, then my modules are centering the text for every td tag.  So, I removed that from my skin.css file.  Instead, I tried to add a class to the td that contains my menu.  That's my problem.  It won't accept a class.  It won't accept an id.  It won't accept a style within the tag and it won't accept align within the tag.  It is driving me nuts.

In mozilla it works fine because the body is also "text-align:center" but in IE, I can't get it to work.  I've tried to add a class, id, or style to the tag itself, and neither IE or mozilla show it.  In IE Developer Toolbar, I add the class to that tag and it works perfectly, but when I add it to my skin.ascx file it is never recognized.  Someone please help me.

If I need to post the code for someone to help me, I will do that.

Thanks in advance,

Owen

Most likely your class is getting overridden by something else, the module CSS for example.  Use the developer toolbar to look at the CSS inheritance.
