I resolved this particular issue. I uploaded the skin that references the HouseMenu skinobject as normal. Then, instead of applying the skin at host level, I applied it at site level via the admin/site settings screen. The problem went away.

The original problem was easily recreated by applying the skin at host level so no closer to understanding what's happening in that case but at least there's a reliable workaround.

Thanks to all who responded.

I have the same issue.

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at TimRolands.DNN.SkinObjects.HouseMenuSkinObject.HouseMenuSkinObject.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I apply the skin which references [HOUSEMENU] to an individual page but is never finishes loading.

I tried applying the skin to the site as workaround but that broke the site.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think things like this are better answered by the developer, not the DNN users - since this appears to be out of the realm of skinning solutions.

Have you contacted Tim?
