How exactly do I do that?

I tried that but maybe I'm doing something wrong. I added the xml for the skin name which is "portal.ascx", so I put the file "portal.ascx.xml" with the code u suggested but it still doesn't work. I also tried "portal.doctype.xml" and it didn't work either.

What am I doing wrong?

The problem is not solved or is the page not XHTML?
