I'm a newbie. I'm reading Professional DNN 4.0 while updating my site based on version 04.09.01

I think I'm using the default skin (everything is light blue-ish).

When selecting something in the top vertical menu (Home, Admin, Host etc) it is dark red.

What is the recommended way to change this into a blue color?

Thanks,

Jorgen ( building www.ithyme.dk)

I also have this same question.  I hope someone can provide guidance on this issue.

There is no single recommended way to change this. It all depends on what you want (more), how proficient you are in CSS, etc. The simplest way to change the mouse over hover/active state is to replace the image "menu_hover.gif" with another image with the same name. it is located in the directory: /portals/_default/skins/minimalextropy/images

Hello Jorgen and Dave,

there is a overview of the 'Standard' DNN-CSS Classes out there:

http://www.skinningtoolkit.com/DOTNETNUKECLASSES/tabid/88/Default.aspx

The CSS Class you are looking for should be the A.SkinObject:hover Class.
You can define such a Class within the Skin's CSS File if you are creating a new Skin, or look for that Class within the default.css of your Portal and change the Values there.
