So I noticed that when ever I loaded my page my CPU would spike. I went through the process of identifying it was an issue with a flash banner I created and put into the skin, not through a module. After much investigation I thought I had figured it out by using the swfobject . After making the needed adjustments and installing the new skin I created I noticed that my logo is hiding behind the flash although my CPU was now normal and had no more spiking.

Only problem now was that my logo was hiding behind the flash. So I read the threads in this forum advising to set the wmode param in the object tag. As soon as I put that back in no matter what option I use opaque or transparent CPU spikes again! What the heck?

<!--    <param name="wmode" value="opaque"/> -->

    </object>

   </object>
