I think there should be.
There's a list that should be supported here http://dnnskinextensions.codeplex.com/releases/view/32198
if you don't need to localize it you can use:
<%=UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo().Email%>

I see these 3 posts at the forum top with 5 gold stars, so must be important.

But, apparently, its for DNN 5 and is years old.  Maybe they should be updated?  downgraded or removed, or whatever.

Just a thought.

You are right, but there are not that many volunteers to update the document. :-)

This is the best skin object overview I know of and most of it is still valid.
There's also this:

Which is based on the same document AFAIK and not updated for DNN 7
Actually I think this info should all be in the wiki:
