Hello all,

I"m not really sure about the right terminology for this, but basically i've been developing a module in DNN using the standard minimalExtropy theme, on DNN5. Whenever my module causes postback, after the postback, the page is reloaded and scrolls to the position the page was at when the postback was triggered. I finished the bulk of my development and activated the theme that will be live on this website, and i've noticed that whenever i postback, now it reloads the page and stays at the top!.

I figure there is something missing in these custom themes (i have 2 or 3 - all of them do this), does anyone have any advice on where i might start looking inside the theme files for a clue as to how to get it to work. this module is quite long vertically and scrolling each time for my users will be too inconveniencing.

Any advice greatly appreciated - i should be able to implement any advice given - i haven't worked with DNN skins before, but i have worked with skinning in many other CMS's.

Charles

Hi again,

I've been comparing the source code output of both the working defualt skin, and the non working purchased skin. I have found that the default one has a number of javascript includes at the top, where the custom one doesn't. I have also discovered something called 'scrolltop' at the bottom of the output, only on the built in skin does this control get a value set.

I am trying to find where in the skin files these javascript includes are added, but cannot find them anywhere, looking in /portals/default/skins. Can anyone shed some light on how i might find the place to add these scripts?
