Been working on a skin here - http://dev2.davidblack.me/ and have some very small issues I'm hoping to quickly resolve.

The first one is FF is adding extra height, forcing a scrollbar and really not sure why.

The second is the image of David Black there is positioned absolute to float above, and using margins to position him so he moves with the site and screen width. In FF and Safari he seems to sit about 20px or so left of what he's sitting in IE.  Not sure if it's somehow the spacing of the other divs causing it... but he's sitting outside these so I would have doubted it.

Skin ascx:

<div id="PageWrap">
<div id="ControlPanel" runat="server" />
<div id="Header"></div>
<div id="DB"></div>
<div id="topnav" class="topnav">NAV</div>
<div id="PageContent">CONTENTPANE</div>
<div id="Footer">FOOTER</div>
</div>

DB CSS:

#DB {
    position: absolute;
    z-index:2;
    margin-left: 735px;
    margin-top: -200px;
    width:230px;
    height:381px;
    background: url(images/dblack.png) no-repeat;
}

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Looks like FF is adding some padding in your nested div's.

Have you tried to define padding of 0px for top and bottom area's of the child div's?

Hi John

Thanks for the reply.

I've added padding of 0px throughout but unfortunately no luck or noticable change to it. Any other thoughts, or reasons why FF might add that space below it?

Thanks

Sorry, not a clue.

Did you try setting margin to 0 also?
