Haven't seen a div only menu centered yet and it's very nearly impossible to do. We need a "float:center" to complete the set since we have "float:left" and "float:right". It's amazing that "float:center" doesn't exist considering how often it's really needed for objects that don't get affected by "text-align: center" or don't behave as expected when text-align is applied to them.
Anyway, if you place the dnn nave menu inside a table that does not have a set width, then you can center that table using css as long as the element containing that table has a set width that is wider than the table.
Also, in DNN Nav, the vertical-align won't work on menu items, you'll have to use padding as needed to simulate vertically centered menu text. The text, can, however, be centered using text-align on the menu item.
Anyone catch 60 minutes last night? Computers controlled by direct connection to the mind... a monkey was able to eat using a robotic arm that simply "read" his mind or interpreted the brains electrical impulses and translated them into movement. So, it looks like one of these days we WILL finally have computers that can read our fricken minds and do what we want them to do! I suppose we'll still be bound by cross-browser compatibility issues and css limitations. Anyway, if you didn't catch that story, look it up. A guy with advanced ALS is able to communicate via his computer that is actually reading his mind via a cap with ekg-like electrodes that transmit brain wave activity to the computer to spell words and communicate, a mute paraplegic is driving a cart with her thoughts, etc. Way cooler than anything Star Trek ever had and it's real!
