I have encountered an annoying issue with my DNN nav menu.

When you click on ANY item of the menu, a dotted line appears around the WHOLE menu... this happens whether you are logged in or not.

I noticed this mainly in IE6, but also in IE7 (it doesn't seem to happen in FF, but i might be wrong) - ignore menu item names - i deleted the originals.

Any ideas as to why this is happening, and how to get rid of it?

I had the same issue, all i did was replace the menu.css file with the original one and it got fixed, it must be something inside the menu.css file whihc is inside the skin folder that you are using and inside css folder. try replacing that file and see if it fix for you as well.

Hmm... i dont really understand what you mean... if i replace my menu.css with the original, it will overwrite all the styles that I have created, which I obviously dont want to do...

Does anyone know if there is a style i need to include to get rid of this?? It really looks crap... Also, i forgot to mention, I have included  a doctype in the skin (xhtml 1.1 i think?).

I have this issue as well but the dotted line appears around each menu item rather than the whole menu. when you click one they all get the dotted line at once. Thing is, it wont do it on my PC in any browser I try but it does do it on the clients PC IE7.

AFAIK there is a CSS setting to handle this...

 a { outline:0; }

witthin your skin.css can probably solve this issue.
