I have added all my flash code and supporting javascript to a DNN page and nothing shows up.  Do I need to do something special to make this work?

Define "nothing."  Did you look at the source to see what was rendered?

the flash is in the source, the player is on the page, the content pane looks empty, but if I right click where the flash should play, I get a message that the movie is not loaded.

2 things...

  1. Movie probably not loading as a result of a path error.  If you're using something like swfobject js to load flash and replacement, you need to make sure your path to both the .js file and the flash movie is relative.
  2. If ever you have a problem, and can post a link to your site, post it - no-one can help you if you don't give ALL the information needed to eliminate possibilities.
    1. Link to page if possible
    2. What version of DNN
    3. What type of problem - CSS? HTML? JAVASCRIPT? etc
    4. Does your skin have a valid DocType
    5. What module you have used
    6. etc, etc

From the little you have let us in on, its likely a path issue.

Jon
