Hi, Timo

About the DNN 5.x off-the-shelf skin packs that you buy from Marketplaces... Should the skin files be converted to html, using the Object Tokens, or can they remain ascx? Which is the more "correct"?

HTML files are more "portable" , i.e. they don't rely on paths for the skin objects and most of them work in DNN 2-5.

If you provide ASCX files, you should test at different installations to make sure, it works as expected.

And both the [TOKENS] and the object tags are supported.
