Guys

I would like to make a proposal.  Seeing as a lot of DNN sites are hosted on shared servers it seems to me that something that is important is page load speed.  Also as DNN is slow in nature anything we can do to speeed them up is good.  So i was thinking it would be good if skins could have a speed rating.  This would help buyers but also push skin developers to build faster loading skins.  When i was looking at buying a skin i went to the preview page for the skin and then ran a test on it form the following software which i found very useful.

How about setting up a standard page which skins could be applied to and then rated using this software or something like it?  I think it would help the DNN industry as a whole!

Thanks

>  as DNN is slow in nature

this is not true. DNN itself is not slow, in general what makes it slow is badly optimized third party modules and skins

Interesting idea you got there though...
