Hej Timo.
I have looked at your '2 menus hor vert' example. It is good to learn from :-)
I can change 'dnnNAV' to show level 1 and 2, ExpandDepth="2", but how do set up 'dnnNAV2' to start at level 3 and show all levels beyond that?

I have seen in the forum that many others have been fighting with this, most of them give up and use another menu provider, is that the solution to this?

Or is there a change on its way like this simple code example:
<... ID="dnnNAV" startlevel="1" expanddepth="2" ... /> Shows level 1 and 2
<... ID="dnnNAV2" startlevel="3" expanddepth="3" ... /> Shows level 3,4 and 5

:-)

<dnn:NAV runat="server" ID="dnnNAV2" StartTabId="<%#Portalsettings.Activetab.Breadcrumbs(2).TabId%>" Level="Child" ProviderName="DNNMenuNavigationProvider" IndicateChildren="false" ControlOrientation="Vertical" CSSControl="AllMenu">

would give you the 3rd menu level, but only if there is a page active on Level 2 or higher

Did I miss something... your sample skin and your site with this skin does not work on IE.
