I am trying to add small icons(gif or jpeg) next to links I created with a links module. Is there a simple way to do this? I can't seem to figure it out and there does not seem to be a forum topic on this subject.

thanks!

Without modifying the module, the only thing I can think of would be to put an image tag in the title. The problem with this is that your title length is limited, so you may not be able to get the look you're going for with long URLs.

Typically, when someone has more advanced requirements for a list of links, the Text/HTML Module is better suited for him/her. Try this out, if the Links Module can't meet your needs.

usually you should be able to place an image beside each link by using an appropriate css class, e.g. specify a baground image (align:right, no repeat) and add an appropriate number of whitespaces after each link to free space for the image to be displayed.

Unless you're wanting the same image next to all links, this wouldn't work. The Links Module doesn't provide a way to specify a CSS class.

you are right Michael, this adds of cause the same image to all links (typically some kind of arrow). If you need individual images, why not using the UserDefinedTable module? UDT 3.2.0 can be downloaded from the project page on this site and supports using images and links.
