Can someone please help me figure out what is wrong with my Skin and Container packages. I am trying to install them on a DNN 5 site.

I install the Skin package and then when I try to install the Container package I get this in the error.

"Skin already installed with a different Package Name"

Why would it say "Skin" when I am trying to install a container.

Here are my manifest files:

Might seem like a stupid question question, but are you sure the skin you're installing is a DNN5.0 compatible skin? (i.e. it is compiled for DNN5 and has a manifest file..?)  Read this post by Timo to learn more on the topic. If you're installing a 3rd party purchased skin, check with the developer if you come unstuck.

Yes, this is a DNN5 Skin. It is a skin I created from scratch. Any idea on why this isn't working.

Hi

Again, refer to the link I supplied - Its probably got to do with how you packaged the skin.  The post covers how to packge skins for DNN 5.

Yes. I have been using  that documentation and others. I honesltly can't see any problems with the manifest files.
