I am trying to change the default font inside of the skin. So where ever there is text (each of the menu buttons etc.) i would like the font to be Times New Roman. I tried changing this by going into the Skin.CSS file but could only change the font when my cursor hovered over the text. Can anyone help?

Since every skin is different and don't necessarily use the same techniques let alone the same css class names, not to mention a half dozen or more menu providers out there that the skin designer could have used, well, no there isn't any specific answer.

The best way to do this is to either contact the skin designer, or for DIY you can use IE developer toolbar or Firebug in Firefox to narrow down the appropriate css classes.  I have better luck with Firebug in Firefox for tracking down menu classes, it's just visually easier to read for me, but both of those tools are excellent for things like this.

Well, the 'default font' in the MinimalExtropy skin should be targeted with the .Normal class. However, you mention that the font changes when you mouseover, leading me to think you're talking about changing a link which would be targeted by the a:link, a:active, a:visted, and a:hover definitions. However, like was mentioned above, using the Firebug and the Web Developer toolbar inside Firefox is a great way to identify those pesky nested classes, and if you're using IE7, there is a Developer toolbar available for it as well (albeit not as intuitive, IMHO). I also think IE8 has some debugging tools built in.

Good luck!

It's possible, too, that the skin.css doesn't set all fonts and styles.  You may have to look at the default.css and copy some things over into your skin.css file and then change the font, that way the css in your skin.css will override the default.css settings.  Again, using Firebug with Firefox or IE8's developer toolbar will help you figure out if this is part of what's happening.
