Hi,

I'm posting here becuase any other existing posts relating to this are not exactly same. Basically , i have a setup a dnn site using fixed width skin. The page has several modules on it, and the width is 1000px - this is all fine. As soon as i add a large image (980px) which is still smaller than the fixed width of the page (1000px) in the top pane, the layout seems to explode (the page becomes very wide and the image has empty space to the right and left of it since the page has become very wide).

If i add a small image, like 500px this is ok. As soon as the sizes of the images i use near the full width size, they cause the layout to explode. However, sometimes if i add a small image of a few hundred pixiles wide in the content pane, or even a long word measuring a few hundred px wide, the very wide width becomes smaller.

I wanted to report this as a bug on the dnn support site, but was not sure if i should yet, so have attempted this first.

Your help is much appreciated.  Thanks.

I am quite confident this is a skin issue, not a bug.

What skin are you using? Do you have an example online?

When I've encountered similar problems, it was usually either the Padding or Margin of an element inside the container. You should be able to use Firebug / Web Developer Toolbar (firefox addons) or IE's Dev toolbar to identify the offending element.

Good Luck!
