I am using the ActionButtons to show a print icon next to my module so that people can click to view a popup of the modules content.

However, in IE7 and IE8 on every site that I test (so far about 5 sites ranging in versions for 4.8.4 to 4.9.4) the original page will lose its left margin and the contents of the page is aligned hard left to the browser.  Firefox doesn't do this and the page looks correct.  From what I can see, it seems to be happening because clicking the print icon does a page reload and for some reason the style: "margin: auto" on one of the top level div elements in the skin,  is being ignored. 

I've tried on various combos of skins and containers that I've brought of snowcovered and even the DNN default - MinimalExtropy.  The same thing happens.  I even tried creating a brand new site and the same thing happens.

I've noticed it before and always just turned off Allow Print but now I need it to work on a site.  I've suprised that I couldn't find any other post about this on the interweb - which makes me think I'm just doing something really silly.

This is because the framework injects a script tag above the doctype in DNN 4.

It has been solved in DNN 5 (Issue)

The print page aligns to the left because IE does sees the page as not XHTML complaint and thus the centering does not work.

(you need an XHTML doctype for that in IE)

ATM the only solution would be to upgrade to DNN 5 or use an alternative print skin object like this one:
