Hi

I am a newbie at DNN.

I was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction on how to import an existing html page into an existing website via the client interface.

regards Steve

Hi Stefaans,

Could you elaborate a little bit more on your goals?

An existing HTML page may (and probably will) translate to several different components in the DotNetNuke world. If you just want the "core content" you'll probably be able to just dump the text into a text/html module on the page. However, the design/layout elements of an HTML page would translate to a Skin in DNN. And, it is possible that you could have some embedded functionality that communicates with the server. In this case you can probably just use the same markup and place it in a text/html module, or if it's something you're going to re-use in several places and you need some configuration options, it may make sense to create a custom module.

Looking forward to your response,

Ian
