Using 4.9.

Have several tokens in use on my testing site. I have contained each of these tokens, including the NAV, in DIVS. I can add text to these divs and apply a style to said text, e.g. make it white, bold, italic, etc. However, I can't seem to make the actual "TOKEN text items" change color, font, etc.

If we look at the example of say, "LOGIN". If I place that [LOGIN] token in my div and give style to the text of that div, shouldn't that also influence the color of the word "LOGIN"?

Is this done in the XML, some other location?

Thanks for your ideas!

I found a solution to this problem contained in another post titled "Enlarging "Register | Login" on Homepage" on page 5 of this (skinning) forum.

You need to add a class to the <...> area where the TOKEN actually resides on your HTML page or ASCX page (after the fact). You call it "CssClass" then name it whatever you like. Then make certain to add this class you've made ".loginText", whatever, in your stylesheet. Also, make certain you call it properly in your XML page, as a setting of that particular token.

Anyway, read what the gentleman wrote in the post I mentioned above. Takes some imagination but, It works well.
