We where talking of 3rd party skins. I have no problems with my skins. I use combinations that works.

I just pointed out that the nav menu has issues in IE8. Most of the "solpart" 3rd arty skins dont use XHTLM doctype.

The slow migration to the NAV menu is that the lack documentation and issues with the Nav menu (eg Nav + DNNMenuprovider) is the core/corp interest in in this part of the framework.

Its not even a poiint in the announcement of a new release.

Jan, "If you have a problem with your skin and IE8, you could add the IE compatibility mode skin object to the skin." was meant as an advise in general.
I now see it seems like an advise to you, which was not my intention..

Your not the only one Timo! I spent a few hours looking at skins a couple days ago for a client. I ended up getting my hands dirty and rolling my own.
