GR check this out -- pages 15 and 16 ... it doesnt exactly solve my problem but it might b a step in the direction of fixing yours...

Ya but you are right... it doesnt answer my question much.

If we can use NAV for the menu, why is dnn:MENU there for? What are the advantages or disadvantages of using them? Are there any situations where we should use a specific one?

I donno man im kinda new to DNN and ill say all the redundancies are kinda confusing EX:

[NAVIGATION] and [NAV] are the same thing?? ( can someone verify this?)

 

i CAN tell you that there are pre and post parsing valuse for certain items... like the CSS declaration for a ContentPane IE:

div.ContentPane {background:color="white";}

gets parsed into something like DNNContentPane post the parsing.

 

weird :D

 

have you looked up anything about SolPartMenu ? (i dont quite get it lol)

and du have any idea how to make the navigation itself? im talking like is this nav token thing a container of sorts? where do i put the URLs for the links ?
