Am I right in concluding that since there is no 'portal setting' which nominates a portal page where the user can view a Sitemap module in DNN5, there is therefore no generic way in which I could implement a Sitemap control which can be placed in a skin in a manner similar to Login,Terms , Privacy etc?

Thanks Timo.

I can see that it scrolls through the tabs picking out the ones with appropriate tabId/parentId relationships.  I can clearly invent a relationship by forcing all portals to use some Tab characteristic as an indication that that Tab is the right one to show when the user clicks on the word Sitemap, but I can't see how the standard Tab information helps me to do a generic Control .  I guess I could simply create my own Sitemap module.

I forgot;

Have a look at SiteMap.aspx.vb in the root of DNN too.

I should have pointed you to that one before..
