When I look at the source of my dnn site i'm a little bit shocked about the amazing amount of references to internal files like css stylesheets and js. libraries. From a webdesigner point of view this is absolutely not wanted, because the page load takes longer. So i'm searching a method to combine all stylesheets in one. But how can i disable the link references to all stylesheets for example module.css and the container.css I know it's difficult to combine the .js files but there has to be a way to reduce the overhead. Please help me!

Have a look at PageBlaster from Snapsis - one of the advtanges (amongst many) is the ability to compress all JS/CSS into single files...

You only have to use one stylesheet, skin.css, if the other skin / container related files don't exist they are not loaded.

The remaining portal.css and default.css can be unloaded using this skin object:
