I was recently trying to setup the design for a menu system where there would be "separator" images between the items. I noticed in the DNN 5 Skin Objects Beta Doc 3.pdf that there doesn't seem to be any way to designate a "separator" item (.sep?).  So I'm left wondering what would be the reccomended way around this?  In the documentation, it would seem to read that I could add the "CSSSeparator" attribute to the token, but I have had no luck with that so far (Assuming I need to use a CDATA enclosure).

Thoughts?

You can do it like this the css

.navmenu_sep

{ margin: 0 0px 0 0px; background: url(../images2/split.png) no-repeat center ;}

The ascx

SeparatorHTML="<span class=&quot;navmenu_sep&quot;>&nbsp;</span>"

Couldn't get it to render the separator. I could see the class in the rendered source, but no display in the menu.  I then tried defining SeparatorHTML="test"  hoping it would drop the word 'test' in between my items, but no luck. Once again, I could see the word 'test' in the rendered source but nothing visible in the menu.

Thoughts?

The code I showed works fine for me.

I have it in a few skins.
