 Hello everyone,

I've been trying to modify a generic html page for use with DNN5, but I keep getting an error when I try to upload the skin to my site. The error I'm recieving is:

StartJob Begin Processing of Skin Files
Failure ExceptionSystem.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array. at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.SkinFileProcessor.ObjectParser.ObjectMatchHandler(Match m) at System.Text.RegularExpressions.RegexReplacement.Replace(MatchEvaluator evaluator, Regex regex, String input, Int32 count, Int32 startat) at System.Text.RegularExpressions.Regex.Replace(String input, MatchEvaluator evaluator, Int32 count, Int32 startat) at System.Text.RegularExpressions.Regex.Replace(String input, MatchEvaluator evaluator) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.SkinFileProcessor.ObjectParser.Parse(String& Source) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.SkinFileProcessor.ProcessFile(String FileName, SkinParser ParseOption) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installers.SkinInstaller.Install()

Is there a way to determine what is actually causing the parser to fail? Thanks in advace!

Sean

Hmm, I don't see any obvious errors, I'll have a better look at it later

I have the exact same problem happening.  There is nothing strange about my skin either.

In an attempt to learn skinning on DNN5 along with the new skin objects, I created a skin only zip that contains three files total; Index.html, skin.css, index.doctype.xml.

In the HTML file I took every skin "object" from appendix B: Skin Objects and wrapped them each into a DIV.  The "content pane" iteself i just made a DIV runat=server.

I'm assuming we both are including some out of date skin object...I"ll try to narrow it down.
