Will too many content panes and too many modules on one page slow the performance of the admin section? I have some product pages which has lots of content panes and text/html modlues, when I try to update or add modules to those paegs, it takes a few minutes to have 1 update done. We are using a virtual machine on a powerful server as a webserver and SQL is also in the virtual machine. What's the cause of my problem? Is it too many modules or the server? Thanks!

Short answer: Yes. Think about it this way: Every module you add on a page has its own set of business rules, database calls, and code that needs to be transmitted to and rendered on the client. Each of these adds a little bit to the request/response time. So, of course, the more you add, the slower it will be. This is the same with any application, tho. The important thing is to organize pages appropriately.
