Hi everyone

I was introduced to DNN, around 3 years ago but was just doing page building and some behind the scenes stuff. I've just downloaded the community edition of DNN, and would like to upload the house menu so that I can style as a bulleted list. Firstly, I find DNN very confusing knowing which menu token to use. [NAV] or [MENU] also I hear alot about DNN Menu and Solpart Menu, whats the difference?

So yes any help on what menu I should be using, and what the difference is. I have now downloaded the house menu 1.4 beta, and set it up in module definitions, but according to a dDNN skinning tutorials that I have purchsed, Im supposed to install the skin through DNN Host settings, however there is no skins option in host, only in admin.

By the way, I have the community edition, which I am learning with before I go ahead and purchase for future projects. I have styled by current [NAV] Menu using CSS, but hear so many opinions to use the house menu. Also my subnav for the [NAV] token does not extend to the full with of the parent button.

I hope someone can help me in some way....look forward to hearing from you guys!

Thanks

Paul

recommended for menu is using [NAV] provider, which incorporates the menu specified in web.config (DNNmenu by default). Our skin exprets may provide additional help.

To install your Skin in DNN 5.1, please use Extensions item in Host menu.
