On the navigation menu, I'm using the DNNMenuNavigationProvider provider.... how do I make the menu NOT display the children?  I know I can go into the settings for the child pages and set Show on Menu to false but that prevents the menu items from also showing up on the LINKS control.  I want the children to be able to be displayed using the LINKS or even a sub-nav, I just don't want them to show via a dropdown from the main menu.  Any advice?  Thanks!

Set the ExpandDepth="1" (I think 0 works too). But for ExpandDepth to work, PoputateNodesFromClient has to be set to false.

 <dnn:NAV ...  PopulateNodesFromClient="false" ExpandDepth="1" />

Thanks so much!  I figured the ExpandDepth was a part of the solution, by reading the .xml file, but didn't realize PoputateNodesFromClient was a piece of the puzzle as well.  Much appreciated.

I wish the form search here on this site actually worked and didn't timeout everytime (for me anyway).

What's the complete tag? When I try to add this, it just renders as "HomeAdmin". How do I get it to show the 2nd level links only?

<dnn:NAV runat="server" ID="dnnNAV"
ProviderName="DNNMenuNavigationProvider"
IndicateChildren="false" ControlOrientation="Horizontal"
/>
