Hi, This is Bishwajit,

After deploying custom skin and container, I have facing some problem.

I have to create a custom skin and container and have to deploy it on the portal.
For that, I have created following files:

  1. index.html : html file for skin
  2. skin.css : css file for skin
  3. simple.html : html file for container
  4. container.css : css file for container
  5. index.doctype.xml : contains tag ( )  for index.html
  6. Alpha.dnn : contains information about skin and css

          Alpha.dnn contains following code:

<dotnetnuke type="Package" version="5.0">
<
packages>
     <
package name="Alpha Skin" type="Skin" version="1.0.0">
           <
friendlyName>Alpha Skin</friendlyName>
           <
description>Simple Alpha Skin.

           <
owner>
                <
name>DotNetNuke

                <
organization>DotNetNuke Corporation</organization>
                <
url>www.dotnetnuke.com

                <
email>support@dotnetnuke.com

          </
owner
         <
license></license>
        <
releaseNotes></releaseNotes>
      <
components>
            <
component type="Skin">
            <
skinFiles>
                 <
skinName>Alpha</skinName>
                 <
skinFile>
</skinFile>
          <
skinFile>
</skinFile>
      <
skinFile>
</skinFile>
       </
skinFiles>
      </
component>
</
components>
</
package>
<
package name="Alpha Container" type="Container" version="1.0.0">
    <
friendlyName>Alpha Container</friendlyName>
    <
description>Sample Alpha Container.

    <
owner>
          <
name>DotNetNuke

         <
organization>DotNetNuke Corporation</organization>
        <
url>www.dotnetnuke.com

       <

   </
owner>

   <

    <

   <

   </
containerFile>
  <
containerFile>
    <
name>container.css

   </
containerFile>
   </
containerFiles>
    </
component>
   </
components>
   </
package>
  </
packages>
</
dotnetnuke

After deployed it to the portal.I can see it in the edit section, where I can add thease skin and container. When applying these skin. It works fine but some HTML tag is showing in the follwoing header section.

!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"

If anybody have idea reagrding this, then help me regarding this:

Regards

Bishwajit Sahoo
