Hi everyone, I'm trying to figure out the differences between DNN version 4 and 5 skin formats.

Is there a doc anywhere on the subject? In one of the official skinning documents, there's a quote that "we felt the simplicity of zipping a group of files into a package far exceeded the benefit provided by introducing a manifest requirement" but then there's a short description of a manifest file format later on. Was the manifest added in version 5?

Using the XML/HTML/CSS (Token) method, what do I need to worry about between 4 and 5?

Thanks and happy skinning to you all.

Pinned post, at the top of this forum.  Conveniently, immediately above yours when I replied.
