I'm trying to change the link of the main logo in the lop left of my DNN portal. Can someone provide me direction?

 

The logo i'm refering to is the portals/0/logo.gif logo.

For any skin which utilizes the Logo skin object (including the default skins), that setting can be changed on the portal Site Settings page.  For detailed directions you can see the online help here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Support/Hel...

Thank you, however, I am trying to change the link of this logo. The link currently links back to the home page and I want to change this link to redirect to a completely different site. I am aware of how to change the logo itself.

The LOGO skin object does not support specifying an arbitrary link.  So, you have at least two options:

  1. Replace LOGO with an image tag and custom link in your skin file.
  2. Use the LOGO skin object to create a custom skin object that permits you to specify a custom link.

The first choice is the one that I would probably use.  It is quite straightforward.  Take a look here for some useful information.
