Hi,

Somewhere along while writing my current skin I've made a change and now I've lost the control panel.

This persists despite having included

just under the body tag (html skin).

What would a newb like me most commonly mess up with?

Many thanks,
Ashish

I would delete your skin totally from your portal, if the folder remains then delete it with ftp. and then upload a fresh one that is corrected.

Hi Salar,
Thanks for the reply.

I did discover my error a little later - posting here in the hope that someone else may benefit...
I had an element positioned using 'absolute position'ing that covered up the control panel completely! Soon as I removed that element, the control panel was back.

So I'm getting-by by having commented out that element till my site is all ready - I will then uncomment it.
However, I still don't know how to position that element in a different way, since I need a few elements to overlap, and experiments with z-index didn't yield the desired results.

Thanks again,
Ashish
